Eerie! China Unveils World’s Most Life-Like Robots –“Indistinguishable from Humans”

Incredibly realistic human-like robots from China’s University of Science and Technology drew a huge amount of attention at the World Robot Conference in Beijing last week. The robots show how we’re swiftly approaching the epic inflection point when robots appear indistinguishable from humans.


The eerie, human-like robots built by China’s University of Science and Technology stole the show over at the World Robot Conference in Beijing last week. The robot on display, Jia Jia, is a super realistic robot capable of micro facial expressions and basic conversation with humans, who can also recognize faces, identify your gender and age, and detect your facial expressions.

                                 

 

The university also unveiled a new male robot that can accurately paint calligraphy, demonstrating extraordinarily lifelike hand movements.

The new robots, along with rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, , reveal how quickly we’re approaching the inflection point where robots become indistinguishable from everyday people.
